When you worry about no where to go, museum always is a good choice, where surprises and inspires you. : ) People might think of going shopping is also a choice, or go to some stores only available in Taipei, to me, I'm into fashion but not shopping... only when I NEED to but something or in somewhere special like TOKYO!!
The day after J's concert in Taipei, we went to three places. First, Taipei fine arts museum. We didn't know what were exhibiting there, but still satisfied. :D
The first one was "Entre-Temps" which presents 21 video-art works by artists who are either French or have pursued careers in France. The works are collected by the Municipal Museum of Modern Art over the last ten years.
The second one was "The Struggle Between Space and Sentiment" by Read Lee who is a post-war veteran Taiwanese. This exhibition features a hundred odd drawings by him.
The third one was "Super Contemporary Designed in London". A traveling exhibition curated by the Design Museum in London. Participants included various design fields, such as architecture, fashion design, visual communication and industrial design.
The fourth and the last was "Trans-Cool Tokyo". The exhibition features over 40 works from the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo collection, and also tells the story of how Japanese artists, since the second half of the 1990s, have established their own creative identities within the context of global pop culture. Working across all media, including painting, sculpture, performance, photography and video.

And then, one of tourist's favorite places - Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. We were here for "TEZUKA OSAMU’S WORLD". When I say he is the creator of "Astro Boy", I think there's no need continuing to introduce him. :P He is like the father of manga!!

Our last stop - National Museum of History for Masterpieces from the Musée National Picasso, Paris. Another genius who I just need to introduce his name. ; )
